Max Evans played by Jason Behr
Jason Behr is Max Evans	Max was adopted by his human parents, along with his sister Isabel, when they were found walking in the desert as young children. Max appears to be the most level headed of the three, although the first episode alters this perception when he starts a chain reaction of events which leads to their secret running the risk of being known by anyone else. And it all starts when he heals Liz Parker at the Crashdown. It seems the natural thing to do for Max at the time. After all, he has secretly loved her his whole life. But now he risks losing everything, Isabel, Michael, Liz, freedom. Will Liz tell the authorities what happened, will she understand what happened? Max's power is to read minds and can see visions of peoples past when he kisses them. Jason Behr was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on December 30 in 1973. He has three brothers named Aaron, Andrew and John. He has been in a variety of other shows such as Dawson's Creek as Chris Wolfe. He also has had a guest appearance on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Isabel Evans played by Katherine Heigl
Katherine Heigl is Isabel Evans	Isabel appears to be at home living as a human. She has femininity down to a fine art. She is stylish and knows how to use her looks for gain. But she is the one who is most afraid of being found out for what she really is. She likes her life, her family who adopted her and Max, and she is happy as things are. Unfortunately things don't go as she would like and Michael (known to them as their brother) starts to investigate their past with some unforeseen consequences. Isabel eventually falls for Alex Whitman, the one person she feels she can trust outside of her family. It takes her time to feel close to him but she needs this closeness to get through the situation. Isabel's power is that she can get into other peoples dreams when they are asleep and control their outcome, even influence those people. Katherine Heigl was brought up in New Canaan, Connecticut and was born on November 24 in 1978. She now lives in LA. Katherine has also appeared in a variety of shows and films. One such film was the 'Bride of Chucky' in 1998. Her big break was in the 1994 film 'My Father the Hero' playing opposite Gerard Depardieu. Then came 'Under Siege 2', a 1995 film with Steven Seagal.
Michael Guerin played by Brendon Fehr
Brendon Fehr is Michael Guerin	Michael is determined to find his origins no matter what he destroys in the process. Known to Max and Isabel as their brother at the start, he proceeds to undermine Isabel's attempt at hiding her alien side. Michael wants to know the truth about where they come from, and who they really are. He shows little or no emotion and tries to keep a distance from any ties he may have in Roswell. But Maria falls for him in a big way and tries to get him to show more emotion, especially to her. Michael has the power to move things, with some force. Unfortunately it takes him some time to learn to control it! Brendan Fehr was born in New Westminster, Canada on October 29 in 1977. Brendan has two sisters, and almost became a teacher. He has appeared in the films Final Destination (2000) and Disturbing Behavior (1998).
Liz Parker played by Shiri Appleby
Shiri Appleby is Liz Parker	Liz is Max's one true love in life, and she starts to realise her feelings for him are mutual after the shooting at the Crashdown. She knows what she wants in life and is as level headed as Max, until they meet up. Then her feelings and emotions go out the window. Her best friend Maria tries to keep Liz's head on her shoulders, but Maria has her own problems. Liz's parents own the Crashdown, where the shooting takes place, and a lot of the other scenes. Both Liz and Maria work there too. Shiri Appleby was born in L.A. on December 7 in 1978. She has starred in many TV commercials. Her first movie she starred in was 'I Love You To Death' in 1990 with Kevin Kline and Tracey Ullman. She has had guest appearances on several TV shows such as Xena and Beverly Hills 90210.
Alex Whitman played by Colin Hanks
Colin Hanks is Alex Whitman	Alex is a friend of Liz and Maria's. He starts to realise something is going on when they both start being more secretive than usual, and he starts feeling left out when they don't confide in him. So, he becomes more inquisitive and eventually rejects Liz as a friend until she tells him what is going on. As time goes by Alex becomes more involved with helping in the search for the truth as to Max, Isabel's and Michael's origins. As he does he becomes infatuated with Isabel, eventually becoming her boyfriend. Colin Hanks was born on November 24 in 1977. Colin is the son of the actor Tom Hanks and Colin played a bit part in the film 'That Thing You Do' with him. Roswell is Colin's first starring role on TV. He is also starring in the film 'Whatever It Takes'. a remake of Cyrano.
Maria De Luca played by Majandra Delfino
Majandra Delfino is Maria De Luca	Maria is one of a kind! She is odd to say the least, but I like her. She brings something to Roswell that otherwise would be missing. As Liz's best friend she comforts her and helps her through the emotions she feels after being shot. Maria has a thing against men, and does not trust them, but as she gets closer to Michael either through being kidnapped by him or by backing him up, she starts to realise that she loves him. Majandra Delfino was born in Caracas on February 20th in 1981. Majandra was born Maria Alejandra Delfino and has one older sister. She was nicknamed Majandra because her sister could not say Maria Alejandra. Her first movie was the 1997 film 'Zeus and Roxanne' and the second being 'I Know What You Did Last Summer'.
Kathleen Topolski played by Julie Benz
Julie Benz is Kathleen Topolski	Kathleen Topolski comes into the first series in the 2nd episode as a teacher at Roswell High. She appears on the surface to be kind and caring, wanting to truly help the students. But, once she has the information she is after, things start getting nasty. I wont give too much away here, incase people are reading this and have not yet seen her in Roswell. Let's just say she comes through for the guys. Julie Benz has starred in Angel, and Buffy the Vampire slayer as the vampiress Darla. She also had a small role as a receptionist in the 1997 film 'As Good As It Gets' with Jack Nicholson.
Tess Harding played by Emilie deRavin.
Emilie deRavin is Tess Harding	Tess comes into season 1 around the same time as Kathleen Topolski. She is the new girl at school where she befriends Isabel. What the group do not realise is that Tess is not who she first appears to be! She is the daughter of a military man and have just moved to town. When the group become suspicious of Tess they spy on her one night but they get a huge shock with what they find out. Further details to come.
Kyle Valenti played by Nick Wechsler
Nick Wechsler is Kyle Valenti	Kyle is the son of the local Sheriff, and Liz Parkers boyfriend before she is healed by Max. Kyle feels that Max is loner and becomes aggressive towards him when he sees Max and Liz together. Liz and Max may only have been friends at the time but Kyle is very much like his father in so much that he feels Liz is his territory and Max is muscling in. Kyle becomes determined to find out what is going on with Max, Michael and Isabel and creates more trouble for them than they need. Nick Wechsler was born in Albuquerque on September 3 in 1978 which is not far from Roswell New Mexico. Has also starred in the TV series 'Team Night Rider' and the 'Lazarus Man'.
Sheriff Valenti played by William Sadler
William Saddler is Sheriff Valenti	Sheriff Valenti has a history of UFO chasing with his father being involved in a major case many years ago where he was implicated in the shooting of an innocent bystander. The Sheriff has tried to deny to himself that there is the possibility of aliens being among them in Roswell, until he sees things for his own eyes. He likes to feel that he is in charge in Roswell, but when the FBI start getting involved he sees this as imposing on his territory. Slowly getting pushed out of investigations. he starts his own, into the FBI. William Thomas Sadler was born in Buffalo, New York, on 13th April in 1950. William is no stranger to the silver screen and has graced us with his presence in such films such as Die Hard 2 (1990), Hard To Kill (1990), Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey (1991), The Green Mile (1999), K-9 (1989), Project X (1987) and The Shawshank Redemption (1994).
